WEEK 7 RESULTS
League leaders in the A division Shelley D travelled to Alfold Club, in what turned out to be a tight game going to the wire Shelley came away 5-4 winners to keep a 3 point lead at the top, Lee Perkins and Steve Collins both hitting 180s in their match. Tony's old boys played the Railway B who beat them in the cup last week, in another tight contest Old boys came away with a 5-4 win over 3rd place Railway to keep tabs on Shelley, Simon Parker hitting a 116f the highlight of the evening. Kings head were home to bottom placed Southwater Club. A 5-4 win for the Head keeps Southwater bottom.Archie Goddard hitting a 180 for the hosts . In Division B Onslow clear at the top hosted bottom placed Shelley E who fought to the end and came away with a respectable 5-4 loss. Onslow extend their lead to 6 points.Ashington Club hosted the Partridge in what was a great 2nd vs 3rd place fixture with Dan Home in fine form with 2x180s but it wasnt enough as 3rd place Partridge gained a narrow 5-4 win to close the gap to 1 point to Ashington. Cricketers hosted Ashington B in another tight match the away team won 5-4 to maintain 4th position. Next week is the Salvation Army Fundraiser which will now be a singles comp and flying pairs comp with both comps donations as entry. Please support this event and see you all next week.
