1.League Name

The league to be known as "The Southwater Summer Dart League".

2.Registration

Registration by playing and the player being added to the match card for that fixture.

3.County Players

No new players may be added after the halfway stage of the league. No team may play more than TWO county players. An offending team will lose 1 singles & 1 doubles match for each county player over the permitted TWO, which will be given to the non offending team, & also deducted three points. The non offending team will get no more than 9 points regardless of how many county players over the permitted TWO are used. County players are Mens, Ladies.

4.Competition Eligibility

County Players (Mens and Ladies) must have played TWO league games to be eligible for any competition.

5.Match Schedule

Matches will commence at 8.30pm & be played on Thursdays unless both captains agree & an alternative date has been advised to the league secretary, no catch up games to be scheduled after the last fixture date scheduled in the official fixtures list.

6.Results Submission

Home team to WhatsApp the match result card to the Captains WhatsApp group signed by both home and away captains. Results MUST be in by midnight on the night of the match, failure to do so will be a five-point deduction.

7.Match Format

Matches shall consist of six singles & three doubles, 501 best of 3 straight in double out. Players will throw for the bull to determine who throws first in legs one & if required three. Away team player to throw for the bull first.

8.Cancelled Games

In the event of a cancelled game not being played the defaulting team giving minimum 48 hours notice opponents will be given a 9-0 win. Any games where notice has been given and both teams can agree a rearrangement date, must as previously mentioned be communicated to the fixtures secretary and played prior to the last week of fixtures.

9.Cup Competitions

The K.O. & Consolation Cups will be played as per league games with the exception that the doubles will be played first. The losing teams in round 1 will compete in the Consolation Cup.

10.Trophy Returns

Any trophies held MUST be returned no later than four weeks from the end of the season. Failure to comply will result in five points being deducted from the current season's total for each trophy not returned.

11.Competitions

The first competition the Badger Memorial is an open competition to any players, the next competition will be the First round of the cup and all further competitions will require a player to be registered by having played one game, (with the exception of County Players who must have played Two. County Mens and Womans).

12.Oche Requirement

All teams required to have a raised Oche (Venue management allowing).
